Camy and Aaron came all the way from the USA to tie the knot in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Their Molenvliet wedding, that stretched over two days, was elegant, fun and romantic, the perfect wedding weekend, at one of the most picturesque venues in Stellenbosch
Molenvliet Lawn
The morning started quietly at the Molenvliet cottages, where both the bride and groom got ready, surrounded by friends and family. Camy looked radiant thanks to LA Makeup, and the calm energy of the bridal suite set the tone for the rest of the day. The ceremony took place on the Molenvliet Lawn, with the mountains forming the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt vows.

Everything about the celebration was seamlessly pulled together by Trunk Events, with stunning décor and floral styling by N Concepts & Designs. Their elegant yet natural palette of soft tones, greenery, and warm candlelight suited the surroundings perfectly and made every photo come alive.
Guests enjoyed canapés and harvest-table bites by Annalize Catering during pre-drinks in the courtyard, with live acoustic music creating an easy, romantic atmosphere. As the sun dipped behind the Helshoogte mountains, we stole a few minutes for golden-hour portraits among the vineyards — those magical, unposed moments that make wedding photography at Molenvliet so unforgettable.
The reception on the deck was a relaxed, laughter-filled evening featuring speeches, incredible food, and a dance floor that didn’t slow down until midnight. From the candlelit tables to the espresso-martini bar by Beano Coffee, every element reflected the couple’s style — modern, joyful, and deeply personal.
Weddings like Camy and Aaron’s remind me why I love photographing destination weddings in the Cape Winelands. There’s something timeless about Molenvliet — the light, the landscape, the laughter — and being able to capture it all through natural, story-driven wedding photography is always a privilege.
