Rukudzo and Nyasha travelled from the UK to celebrate their wedding at Webersburg in Stellenbosch. After postponing their original April 2020 date, they finally married in October 2021. ZaraZoo captured their long-awaited celebration against the estate’s Cape Dutch architecture, vineyards and established grounds.

A wedding at Webersburg brings together the elements that make the Stellenbosch Winelands such a memorable place to celebrate: a historic manor house, vineyards, old oak trees and generous lawns. For Rukudzo and Nyasha, it was also the setting for a day they had waited much longer for than planned.
A long-awaited destination wedding in Stellenbosch
The UK-based couple originally planned to marry in April 2020. COVID restrictions forced a postponement, and their wedding eventually took place in October 2021. That history belongs to this wedding story: these are photographs and video from their celebration, rather than a newly held event.
It was a windy day at Webersburg, but the weather did not stop the couple from enjoying the occasion. After the delays and changes of plan, being able to celebrate together was what mattered.

We have photographed weddings at Webersburg over many years. The estate gives us several different settings within the same venue: Cape Dutch architecture, vineyard surroundings, established trees and rolling lawns. That variety helps a wedding gallery feel like a complete story rather than a sequence of portraits against one backdrop.
The manor-house interior is a particular favourite for its classic character. It brings a different texture to the photographs from the open grounds and allows us to balance architectural portraits with the wider Winelands setting.

Kevin of VIP Hosting coordinated Rukudzo and Nyasha’s wedding through the postponements and changing restrictions. Our original account credited him for bringing the celebration together despite those challenges. The result gave the couple a wedding to remember after a difficult wait.
