Emma and Mike celebrated their Jewish wedding at Cape Point Vineyards in Noordhoek. From preparations at The Last Word to their ceremony in the tented Boma and portraits on the estate, ZaraZoo captured the people, traditions and moments that made their celebration their own.

Emma & Mike’s Wedding at Cape Point Vineyards

A Jewish wedding, a Noordhoek wine estate and a celebration shared with family and friends: Emma and Mike’s wedding at Cape Point Vineyards brought all three together. We photographed their preparations, the ceremony in the tented Boma and their couple portraits on the estate, following the day through its personal details and connections.

Wedding Preparations in Noordhoek

Emma and her bridesmaids got ready at The Last Word boutique hotel in Noordhoek. Sam Scarborough took care of her makeup, with Danielle Jacobs styling her hair. Emma wore a Pronovias wedding dress, and the preparation photographs capture the finishing touches alongside the moments she shared with the girls.

Mike and his groomsmen prepared nearby at Horizon Cottage. His beige and cream suit contrasted with the groomsmen’s black tuxedos, giving their photographs a distinctive look before everyone gathered at the vineyards.

A Jewish Wedding Ceremony in the Tented Boma

The ceremony took place in the tented Boma at Cape Point Vineyards. Our photographs follow Emma’s arrival, the couple beneath the chuppah and the reactions of the people closest to them. The Jewish traditions and the presence of family gave this part of their story its meaning.

For us, wedding photography is about preserving those connections as well as the setting. The ceremony gallery brings together the wider scene and the smaller moments: a glance between the couple, a smile from a guest and the happiness of everyone celebrating with them.

Cape Point Vineyards Wedding Portraits and Celebrations

Emma and Mike stayed on the estate for their couple photographs. Keeping the ceremony and portraits in one location meant they could enjoy a little time together without a journey between venues, then return to their family and friends.

The photographs move from the wedding party and couple portraits to the celebration that followed. Together, they tell the story of a Noordhoek wedding through both its setting and its people, with space for the traditions, laughter and shared moments that made it personal.
