The day began slowly and intentionally, with a relaxed breakfast at The Werf before preparations started in the cottages. Barbara’s hair and make-up by Cecilia Fourie created a soft, natural bridal look that photographed beautifully throughout the day.
As guests arrived, live music from Play Music – SQ & Singers set an elegant tone for the ceremony.
Barbara made her entrance to Pachelbel’s Canon—a timeless choice that perfectly complemented the setting. The ceremony itself was intimate, emotional, and filled with understated elegance, officiated by Gordon Alois Erhart.
Golden Hour at Boschendal
After the ceremony, guests moved onto the Olive Press lawn where confetti celebrations and canapés created a relaxed, celebratory atmosphere.
