The Stunning Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
The outdoor ceremony was conducted on the lawn of the Garden Cottage. Wow, what a setting! It overlooks vineyards and mountains, the perfect setting for exchanging vows! After the ceremony, guests were served champagne and canapés while we took the couple for photos in the estate itself.
The reception tent and setup was built from scratch. Everything from the Kitchen to the washing facilities had to be brought in. This was a logistical feat itself! But the end product was an amazing Bedouin garden venue that compared to some of the best reception venues I have shot at in my 15 years of covering weddings. I must commend Bconfident Events for pulling everything together. What made it even more difficult was that the bride lives in the UK!
Oh yes, how can I forget to mention the hats! I have not seen the invite, but I’m sure it mentioned something about hats being a “must-wear” item for the woman. Since most of the guests jetted in from the UK, it made sense to incorporate this very British tradition of women wearing elaborate hats to weddings. I just love the picture of the hats all pinned together on a wire with washing pegs!
Once the reception got started, the whole wedding party got into another gear! The energy levels spiked and the night ended in a full-on party, with young and old on the dance floor, dancing the night away. Katie & Paul’s wedding was one to remember!
