Sharanya & Rashab’s Hindu wedding at Collisheen Estate was one of two Indian weddings I did back to back in Durban in July. Preparation photos and couple shoot was done at the amazing Zimbali Resort in Ballito. The ceremony and reception were held at Collisheen estate, just a few kilometres up the road. Indian wedding ceremonies are known for their vibrant colours and extravagant decorations. All the religious traditions of these weddings are amazing to behold. With Durban being coined the Indian culture capital in South Africa, it is no surprise that lots of Hindu weddings take place there.
After the wedding procedures, we went to the Durban beach-side to take some couple photos. The newlyweds looked so stunning in their traditional wedding attire with the sand and waves in the background.
