Lara pulled off the vintage theme perfectly with a custom-made grey-ish, moonstone coloured dress and very unique table decor that included origami flowers made from the pages of old books, fresh herbs and vegetables instead of the traditional flower arrangements.
The traditional Jewish wedding ceremony was beautiful and the couple’s marriage was blessed by the Rabi and both of their families. The ceremony and tented reception both at Diemersfontein in Paarl – every time I shoot there I vow that I will one day build myself a veranda (stoep) like the one at the beautiful old Cape Dutch Manor House.
All in all a very enjoyable & scorching hot day in Paarl!
