MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE INCENTIVE PHOTOGRAPHY – OLD MUTUAL NAMIBIA
ZaraZoo photographed Old Mutual Namibia’s offshore incentive trip aboard Splendour of the Seas. The Mediterranean cruise brought together the canals of Venice, the ancient landmarks of Athens and the whitewashed streets of Mykonos, with shared experiences, celebrations and time to unwind at sea.
Mediterranean cruise incentive photography for Old Mutual Namibia
A cruise gives a corporate incentive group the chance to explore several destinations while sharing one travelling base. For Old Mutual Namibia, Splendour of the Seas provided the setting for an offshore incentive trip that combined Mediterranean sightseeing with life on board and celebrations together.
ZaraZoo documented the journey through corporate incentive travel photography, recording both the places visited and the people enjoying the experience. Venice, Athens and Mykonos each brought a different character to the collection: Venetian canals and grand waterfront buildings, ancient Greek architecture, and island streets opening onto the Aegean Sea.
The gallery follows the trip through destination photographs, group outings, dining, entertainment and relaxed moments between scheduled activities. These photographs tell the story of the experience as a whole, rather than presenting a collection of travel landmarks alone.
Venice: canals, gondolas and a departure by sea
Venice brought an unmistakable Italian setting to the incentive programme. Gondolas moving through narrow canals, the architecture around St Mark’s Square and views across the lagoon gave the group plenty to explore and provided a strong opening to the photographic story.
The collection also records the more personal side of the visit: guests exploring the streets, enjoying local cafés and gathering for a formal celebration. Table details, evening lighting and photographs of guests together balance the destination images with the corporate purpose of the trip.
On board Splendour of the Seas, the perspective changed again. Views from the decks and photographs of the ship connect the city experience with the cruise that followed.

Athens: an incentive excursion into ancient Greece
Athens added a very different atmosphere to the journey. The photographs include the Acropolis and Parthenon, city architecture, streets and group moments during the excursion ashore. The scale of the ancient monuments creates a striking backdrop, while photographs of guests exploring together keep the people central to the story.
For a travelling incentive photographer, shore excursions require a balance between wide destination images and spontaneous coverage of the group. A familiar landmark establishes where the experience took place; a shared reaction or an informal portrait shows what it meant to the guests.
Mykonos: island streets, seaside dining and Greek dancing
Mykonos brought whitewashed buildings, colourful doors, narrow lanes and clear blue water into the collection. The island provided a change of pace from city sightseeing, with photographs that move between village streets, the waterfront and a relaxed group gathering.
Seaside dining and Greek dancing created some of the most animated moments of the trip. Guests joining in, laughing and spending time together give these images their value. They show participation and connection, alongside the setting that made the experience distinctive.
Life aboard Splendour of the Seas
The cruise ship was more than transport between destinations. It was also a place for the group to dine, meet, enjoy entertainment and relax. The gallery includes deck scenes, the ship’s interiors, evening performances and views over the water.
Covering life on board helps connect the different shore excursions into one coherent visual record. Quiet moments at sea sit alongside lively gatherings, giving the finished collection a natural rhythm and showing the variety of an offshore incentive programme.
Why professional photography matters on an offshore incentive trip
An incentive programme is an investment in people. Professional photographs give the company a lasting record of the experience and allow participants to revisit the moments they shared after returning home.
With the appropriate permissions, an incentive photo collection can support:
- Internal communications and recognition of participants.
- Future incentive programme launches and presentations.
- Company newsletters, websites and social media.
- Travel organiser portfolios and destination marketing.
- Personal keepsakes for guests who joined the trip.
Working with a photographer who follows the group also creates continuity across destinations. The same team gets to know the people and programme, making it easier to capture natural interactions alongside the formal photographs the organiser needs.
