The Langverwacht Wedding Venue
Langverwagt is also known as Langverwacht. This vineyard estate is located in Zevenwacht, Kuilsriver, just on the outskirts of Stellenbosch and about 40 minutes away from Cape Town. The beautiful, lush valley in which it is situated features stunning old oak trees, forests and abundant natural water sources. And because it is on a hillside, you have a spectacular view of Table Mountain in the background. Truly one of Cape Town’s most underrated and affordable wedding venues.
The Langverwacht venue itself is actually a country residence that has been opened up to events and weddings. The beautiful old Dutch style of the buildings have been around since the 1800’s and has been carefully restored and kept in pristine condition. The original Cape Dutch wine cellar is used as one of the reception venues.
